Demon within
A demon lives among us all, deep within our soul But it can only grow if we let it take control It starts out small, but it spreads ever so fast It's destruction a bit similar to an atomic blast The black cloud of smoke will show no mercy for you As you hold your breath and try to push through It seeps into the pores, seeking and it shall find One simple, but clever task to wield even the strongest mind Forcing you down, forcing you to retreat Lingering for eternity in the wake of your defeat This demon has many names and feeds on pain and tears Dream-killer some call it, but it's mostly known as Fear.
