I waited for you, but you never came
I waited so long and it started to rain
I fell to my knees, soaked to the bone
Despair filled me up and I was all alone
As the thunder roared through the sky
It couldn't mask my shattering cry
I felt the earth shake and saw it crumble
My crying still louder than the rumble
Destruction and chaos is all I see
This is the burden you left with me
I will drown forever in my sorrows
In spite of how many tomorrows
The days are dead, stale at best
This love...this need is eternal and it shall never rest.
