Lost




I am lost, but not alone
In a world that has turned to stone
Just trying to break free
Just trying to be me
But I'm bound tighter if I tug to hard
Once again pulled beneath the shadows of freedom's card
But I work my way back up through the shallow wall of hope
Without a single pull from that soulless rope
I reach the light and see what I've struggled and fought for
Only to be dragged back down just beyond the door
I reach, pull, and scream for you to let me go
But the lost is just a loss the world will never know.
